Burnby Bursary (Historic Award)

Juanita "Nita" Gordon Lloyd Burnby (1923 - 2010), was a British pharmacist and past president of the British Society for the History of Pharmacy.
She also authored works on the history of the Edmonton Hundred, and the history of medicine and pharmacy.

This award is now closed.
Between 2012 - 2021, the medal was awarded for original and scholarly work in the history of British pharmacy, and evaluation is based on competence of research, skill in interpretation and ability in presentation. ​
